A pall of grief has descended over Yorks Village after police confirmed Greta Barton, an elderly resident of the community, as the victim of the country’s latest fatal accident.
She was struck by a vehicle traveling south to north on Friars Hill Road early Sunday morning.
ABS News spoke with the distraught nephew of the deceased on Monday after he identified her body.
