RESIDENTS URGED TO STAY ALERT AS ATLANTIC HURRICANE SEASON BEGINS
Are you prepared and on alert?
Well, if you are not, you need to act with dispatch because the Atlantic Hurricane season began Wednesday and continues until November 30.
It is forecast to be the seventh straight season that will see above-average activity.
An average hurricane season produces 14 named storms, 7 hurricanes, three of which are set to become major of category three or higher.
Acting Director of the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services, told us why the season is forecast to be so active.
