REV. DR. LESTER EMMANUEL DIES

The Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies (PAWI) family and many across Antigua & Barbuda are mourning the sudden passing of Reverend Dr. Lester Emmanuel. 

Initial reports indicate the Bishop and Senior Pastor of the Kentish Pentecostal Church was at the National Fitness Centre (gym) when he collapsed early Monday and later died.

He was an avid fitness enthusiast and had just celebrated his 80^th birthday in March.  He received National Honours in 2021 when he was awarded The Most Illustrious Order of Merit, (OM), for distinguished and outstanding contribution to community service.

He leaves his wife, Dr. Clara Emmanuel, and three children to mourn his loss.
