Police & Fire Department Mourn Passing of Senior Sergeant Harry
Members of the Police Force and Fire Department are mourning the sudden passing of Senior Sergeant kenvil Harry.
Harry, who was attached to the Fire Department suddenly took ill Friday afternoon and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center by the Emergency Medical Services.
He was later pronounced dead around 5:46 pm. He was 57 years old.
Commissioner Rodney reached out to his close family and colleagues in the Fire Department to express sympathies on behalf of the entire rank and file of the Police Force.
Harry’s body was escorted to the funeral home by firefighters in fire tenders. He was given a posthumous salute by his colleagues who lined the street outside the St. Johns Fire Station, as his body was driven pass the station.
Acting Prime Minister and Public Safety Minister Hon. Steadroy Benjamin and the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Public Safety and Legal Affairs, Mrs Stacey Grigg-Paige also reached out to members of the Police and Fire Department to express their sympathy.
