Second Basis Education Project Launched

The Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) officially launched the second Basic Education Project on Wednesday.

Under the theme “Reducing Poverty through sustainable social and economic development”, the financial institution will assist with the components of the initiative through a loan of 13.3 million US dollars.

It is estimated that that the total costs of the project will be in the region of 19.2 million US dollars, with the remainder being provided by the government of Antigua and Barbuda.
