Second Phase of the Antigua Cruise Port’s Upland Development Project Progressing Rapidly

Work is advancing at a significant pace on the second phase of the Upland Development Project, currently underway at the Antigua Cruise Port (ACP).

Earlier Monday, members of the media were given a firsthand tour of the construction site, including a look at the new cruise terminal building, which is scheduled to begin welcoming ships by November 2025. Other elements of the project—such as newly designed vending areas—are expected to be completed by June 2026.

ACP General Manager, Gasper George, commends construction company LICCOM for the progress made so far. He explained that the completed development will feature a dedicated cruise terminal, an entertainment hotspot, a restaurant, and a day club complete with a swimming pool and other guest amenities.
