Section Of The Hanna Thomas Hospital To Be Used As A Medical Outpost On Barbuda
A section of the Hanna Thomas Hospital will be used as a medical outpost once the clean-up effort begins in earnest on the Sister Isle.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rhonda Sealy-Thomas assures adequate medical care on Barbuda once more persons begin returning to the island.
Some 75 Barbudans are scheduled to accompany officials as part of the clean-up effort following the passage of Hurricane Maria later this week.
The CMO says the government is working with various agencies as part of the effort.
The clean-up effort on Barbuda is being spearheaded by officials from the Central Board of Health and the National Solid Waste Management Authority.
