SembCorp Refutes Water Rationing Necessity
SembCorp says Water Rationing is un-necessary.
According to the company’s communications consultant Paula Lee, the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) water rationing schedule was instituted because SembCorp decreased water production.
Lee explains further.
She adds that the utilities company needs to come to the table with a plan of action for this problem to be rectified.
Lee claims that APUA owes SembCorp a sum of 7.8 million dollars over a two year period for water. The Communications Consultant says negotiations are ongoing with APUA.
