SENATE APPROVES SOE EXTENSION

The Senate has voted to extend the state of public emergency by another next three months.
It followed a similar move in Parliament’s Lower House earlier this month.
This means the state of emergency will now end on March 31st next year unless Parliament later decides to do otherwise.
