SENATE PASSES LEGISLATION TO EXTEND SOURCE OF FUNDING FOR UWI FIVE ISLANDS CAMPUS

The Income Tax Amendment Bill 2022 was passed on Monday following bi-partisan support in Parliament’s Upper House, the Senate.
The legislation extends a source of funding to the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus from a 10 per cent tax on the net income of companies in select sectors.
