SENATOR MAUREEN PAYNE-HYMAN SWORN IN AS MINISTER OF STATE

Senator Maureen Payne-Hyman has been appointed Minister of State in the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Public Safety and Labour.
It is a temporary appointment, lasting for a month.
The legislator took the oaths of office and allegiance this morning before receiving her instruments of appointment from Governor General Sir Rodney Williams.
