SENIOR US OFFICIAL IMPRESSED BY LNG PLANT AT CRABBS

A senior United States official is praising the partnership which has resulted in the completion of the Caribbean LNG Plant on the Crabbs Peninsula.

Ambassador Michael Kozak, of the US’ Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, was speaking with ABS News during a tour of the facility Saturday morning.

The project is a joint venture between US-based Eagle LNG and Antigua Power Company.

Officials say it is positioning Antigua and Barbuda to take a leadership role in the supply of this fuel around the region.
