SEVERAL EMPLOYEES OF THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

The Treasury Department is among the growing list of establishments being affected by the surge in COVID-19 cases, with at least 13 employees having tested positive. The unfolding developments have caused a mass sanitization exercise which was conducted last evening. All staffers are being tested in batches of 10 and some have already been placed into quarantine.

The Treasury remains in operation on a reduced/shift staffing and some who are able to will be working remotely.
