SHAWN MUSSINGTON CHARGED FOR MURDER

35 year old St John’s Street resident Shawn Mussington has been charged for the murder of 45 year old Simone Whyte. Mussington is expected to make his first court appearance this morning. Whyte was killed last Saturday evening during during an alleged knife attack by Mussington in St John’s. Attorney for the accused, Wendel Robinson says his client claims he also sustained two wounds during the incident for which he had been hospitalised. ABS will continue to track this story.
