SIR ERIC BURTON LAID TO REST IN BARBUDA

Sir Eric Burton was laid to rest in Barbuda today following an official funeral in Antigua yesterday.
The former parliamentarian’s body arrived on the sister island via the Coast Guard this morning before the culmination of the Official funeral at the Barbuda Pentecostal Church.
Sir Eric’s legacy will resonate with Barbudans everywhere because of his sterling contribution.

Sir Eric was the leader of the Opposition from 1984-1989.
He was the only elected member of the opposition during that period.
The former Barbudan legislator was 90 years old.
