SIR MOLWYN JOSEPH PRAISED BY COLLEAGUE LAWMAKERS IN HIS SWANSONG SITTING

There were glowing tributes in Parliament’s Lower House for outgoing MP for St Mary’s North, Hon. Sir Molwyn Joseph, as his nearly four decades in the Lower House draw to a close.

Speakers from both sides recognised his long service, his debating skills, his steady presence in cabinet and his impact on the people around him.

One of the most emotional moments came when Rural East MP, Hon. Maria Browne delivered a tearful tribute, as she thanked Sir Molwyn for showing up for her in a moment of political pressure.
