Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne is calling on citizens and residents to embrace the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus, saying it’s key to this country’s long-term development.
He lamented recent social media posts ridiculing campus officials following a water pump mishap.
Prime Minister Browne was addressing a ceremony at Sandals Grande Antigua on Thursday night to celebrate the achievements of the honorary graduands ahead of the campus’ graduation on Saturday.
