There will therefore be no disruption in travel and no revocation of any visas, as Antiguans and Barbudans with valid visas will continue to enjoy access to the United States.

The agreement was reached after Antigua and Barbuda’s ambassador to the United States, Sir Ronald Sanders held high-level talks with US officials in Washington D.C. on Friday.

The agreement was reached within three days of President Donald Trump’s proclamation, long before the 180-day timeline indicated for review.

Sir Ronald spoke exclusively with ABS News from Washington.
