SIR RONALD SANDERS QUESTIONS OAS’ RECORD ON GENDER AND RACIAL PARITY
Antigua and Barbuda’s ambassador to the Organisation of American States, Sir Ronald Sanders has asked searching questions of the hemispheric body regarding gender and race.
He was making his contribution to a debate on gender parity at the OAS in Washington D.C. on Thursday.
The veteran diplomat says Antigua and Barbuda is in full support of this ethos, but also challenged his colleagues about inaction by the OAS.
Sir Ronald wants the organisation to look within itself, insisting there should both be gender and racial parity.
