Partial travel restrictions came into effect on New Year’s Day, affecting the issuance of new visas.
Citizens with valid US visas are not affected by the restriction and can continue to travel.
The US wants Antigua and Barbuda and other countries in the OECS offering Citizenship by Investment Programmes to make adjustments to the way biometric data is collected, before it resumes processing applications for new visas.
Sir Ronald tells ABS News in an exclusive interview that he is laser-focused on addressing this issue, starting in earnest next Monday.
He provides the assurance that his recent appointment as chancellor of the University of Guyana will not impact his diplomatic work on behalf of Antigua and Barbuda in Washington.
