SIR RONALD SANDERS WRITES TO US LAWMAKERS ABOUT PROPOSED LEGISLATION

Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to the United States and Organisation of American States, Sir Ronald Sanders has written to members of two committees in the United States House of Representatives regarding proposed legislation that could have an impact on this country and others in the region.
The ‘No Travel for Traffickers Act’ is designed to penalise countries that operate Citizenship by Investment Programmes in the Caribbean and elsewhere in the world.
Ambassador Sanders wrote a detailed letter defending the rigorous vetting protocols in this country’s Citizenship by Investment Programme.
Sir Ronald spoke with ABS news from the United Kingdom on Wednesday.
