Sister Isle To Benefit From Multi-Million Dollar Climate Change Project

The sister isle of Barbuda, stands to benefit from a major climate change project valued at US 10.5 million dollars.

A reservoir, the first of its kind in the region, will be built from Barbuda’s allocation of the funds on agriculture lands located at Highlands.

Barbuda, being a low-lying area, faces a major challenge to produce large quantities of crops mainly because of its vulnerability to the impacts of climate change.
