SLBMC MEDICAL DIRECTOR COMMITS TO IMPROVEMENTS IN ER, ADDITIONAL STAFFING

Medical director at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre Dr Shivon Belle Jarvis says efforts are being intensified to reduce wait times at the hospital’s emergency room.

She also announces efforts are underway to recruit more nurses, as part of a raft of initiatives to improve the quality of services being provided at the facility.

She has praised the work of the staff despite the challenges, but emphasizes more is needed to ensure the public receives the highest quality of care.
