SLBMC MOVES TO IMPROVE EQUIPMENT WITH CABINET’S FINANCIAL BACKING

Medical director of Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, Dr Shivon Belle Jarvis says officials are moving to address pressing equipment needs at the hospital.

She says an asset list has been compiled to better assess the current state of equipment at the facility.

This involves identifying what is in good working condition and what requires upgrading or replacement.

Cabinet approved at least US$800,000 earlier this year to address these critical equipment needs.
