*Social Transform Minister encourages Gender-Based Violence Survivors to utilise resources available.*

As the nation joins the rest of the world in commemorating 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, Minister with responsibility for Social Transformation, Human Resource Development and the Blue Economy is urging survivors to file reports at the Directorate of Gender Affairs.

The goal he says is for the Directorate to be the first point of contact for women and girls who have been affected by Gender-Based Violence.

Data he says is crucial in the fight to stamp out the scourge of violence against our women and girls.

Minister Jonas assures resources are available at the Directorate to assist in the recovery process.

November 25 is designated as The United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
