SOME PEOPLE WHO DIE SUDDENLY MAY BE TESTED FOR CORONAVIRUS

Meanwhile, the Chief Medical Officer says depending on the circumstances, residents who die suddenly may be tested for the new coronavirus.

At least five men have died suddenly in Antigua & Barbuda over the last 10 days.
One of these men had just completed 14 days in quarantine at the Hawksbill hotel.
The man collapsed as he was preparing to leave the hotel and was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.
He was one of several passengers who immediately entered quarantine for possible exposure to COVID-19 after returning to the country via airplane.
The CMO says health officials must rely on the science and the epidemiology to determine which sudden death cases are tested for the virus.
