St. John’s Police Station Recommissioned

The St. John’s Police Station is officially back in the heart of the city.

A recommissioning ceremony was held Thursday morning to mark the end of months of refurbishment.

The 19th-century landmark now boasts 21st-century upgrades to better serve the public and support officers.

Leaders say it’s a symbol of renewed commitment to justice, safety, and national pride.
