STEADY ECONOMIC GROWTH RECORDED IN 2019

Figures from the Finance Ministry show the country’s economy has experienced further robust growth this year.
Senior ministry technocrats told cabinet this week growth in real Gross Domestic Product up to October was 6.9 per cent.
The government says this is a continuation of the high levels of growth over the past 5 years, except for a slowing of the momentum in 2017 following Hurricane Irma.
