Antigua and Barbuda ranks third in the Americas for obesity among children and adolescents.

The new data from the Pan American Health Organisation has reinforced the need for urgent action to tackle the over-consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages in the twin-island state.

The dire statistics were the focus of ABS’ House Calls on Tuesday evening.
