SUPER CENTENARIAN PASSES

The Seatons community has lost a stalwart fisherman. 105-year-old Jacob Alexander Turner passed away at his Seatons home Sunday afternoon.

Here he is, at his 105th birthday celebration, surrounded by family and friends. Also in attendance….Governor General Sir Rodney Williams and Lady Williams.
The father of three spent many of his days out on the water.
His son, George Turner, recounted the first time his father took him fishing.

His children describe him as an excellent story teller, entertaining them with wonderful stories on sleepless nights.
His family tells ABS while his passing still feels unreal, they’re doing well. They say he was attentive to the very end.
