‘TEACHER GEN’ REMEMBERED FOR EXTRAORDINARY ACTS OF KINDNESS DURING OFFICIAL FUNERAL

The nation has bid its final farewell to distinguished educator Genevieve Smith of Potters Village, affectionately known as ‘Teacher Gen.’

Smith was laid to rest following an official funeral at Spring Gardens Moravian Church on Wednesday.

The lifelong educator and devoted foster-mother dedicated her life to caring for children who had been abandoned.
