Team Antigua & Barbuda Returns Home from CARIFTA Games

Antigua and Barbuda’s team to the 53rd Carifta Games in Grenada returned home on Tuesday, following an impressive showing.

The athletes, along with coaches, members of the executives of the Athletics Association, parents and fans were greeted in the VIP Lounge at the V.C. Bird International Airport upon their return.

The young athletes were addressed by Sports Minister Hon. Daryll Matthew, who praised their outstanding performances at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium.

The twin-island state finished 6th overall on the medal table with a total of 5 medals: two gold, a silver and two bronze.
