TEAM ANTIGUA PAIRS’ JOURNEY CONTINUES
Having been at sea for just over two weeks, Antiguans Travis Weste and Joseph Nunes have completed roughly one third of the world’s toughest row.
The duo is taking on the 3-thosuand nautical miles of the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge as Team Antigua Pairs.
The challenge kicked off Saturday December 12.
The race begins in La Gomera in the Canary Islands and ends at Nelson’s Dockyard right here in Antigua.
Within the last 24 hours they rowed some 29 nautical miles.
They have another 1-thousand 8-hundred nautical miles to cover on their journey home.
Of the 21 entrants, the pair is presently 1st in pairs, ninth in their race class and 10th overall.
