TEMPORARY CLOSURE ON FRIARS HILL ROAD AS STREET-LIGHTING PROJECT CONTINUES

A section of Friars Hill Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from Friday, 2nd December until Friday, 9th December 2022 from 9:30 am to noon daily.
The closure will apply to the section between the top of St John’s Street in the vicinity of the Deanery Grounds to the roundabout at the top of Dickenson Bay Street.
This is as a result of continuing work under the government’s street lighting project on the thoroughfare.
The Project Implementation Management Unit assures local access will be maintained during the planned closure.
Road users are advised to proceed with caution when travelling in the area.
