Opposition ABLP’s Senator Rejects Attorney General’s Statement
Debate continues on the issue of General Elections in the twin Antigua and Barbuda.
The Antigua Barbuda Labour Party ABLP has rejected the statement issued by Attorney General Justin Simon QC on the timing for the General Elections today (Thurs).
Senator Samantha Marshall in a statement explains the rationale behind the Opposition ABLP’s rejection.
Marshall adds that there is no evidence to support Simon’s statement.
The statement maintains the Opposition Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party demands that Prime Minister the Hon. Baldwin Spencer must call the elections now.
