THE DYNAMICS OF THE CDC’S COVID-19 TRAVEL ADVISORIES
Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to the United States, Sir Ronald Sanders is calling for a reasoned approach to the recent level 4 COVID-19 risk ranking from the US.
That’s right, he acknowledged there is outrage in this country and Barbados, two states placed in this “very high risk” category from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the CDC.
However, while he says he and other diplomats will hold discussions in coming days with the CDC to review the levels, he argues the CDC has no interest in harming Caribbean countries.
He says how soon Caribbean countries get to levels 2 and 1 is dependent on how committed people in the region are to making themselves as free as possible of the coronavirus…
