THE HON. EUSTACE ‘TECO’ LAKE RECOVERING AFTER SUCCESSFUL KIDNEY TRANSPLANT

Minister of Works and Housing, the honorable Eustace Teco Lake is now recovering from a successful kidney transplant on Friday.

His donor has already been discharged from the hospital.

The surgery took place at the Mount St. Johns Medical Centre.

The Minister was hospitalized in January of 2017 for issues relating to his kidney.

He found a donor last year and the operation took place right here in Antigua at Mount St. John’s.

It wouldn’t have been the first time for the institution, with at least two of them taking place last year.

Minister Lake is expected to be released from the hospital in a few days.
