Meantime, Tourism and Economic development Minister the Hon Asot Michael says the project is an integral part of the Prime Minister’s vision to transform the Antigua and Barbuda economy and improve the lives of all citizens.
Minister Michael was among the officials who spoke at the signing ceremony to formalize the US$90 million loan agreement Friday morning.
In the meantime, an elated port chairman Senator Mary Claire Hurst, was full of gratitude to all the players who made it possible to secure the necessary finances so that the project can finally move forward.
