THIRTY-TWO INMATES AT HER MAJESTY’S PRISON HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
Acting Superintendent Jermaine Anthony says the cases were confirmed after testing of 95 percent of the prison population.
He says all 32 are asymptomatic.
The testing came on the heels of one prisoner testing positive at Mount St. John’s Medical Centre last Saturday.
The infected inmates have been isolated in a refurbished building.
The Acting Superintendent says they will be transferred to a quarantine facility currently under construction at the ABDF Crabbs Peninsular training area.
