THOUSANDS OF SEEDLINGS DISTRIBUTED IN BACKYARD GARDENING INITIATIVE

Agriculture Minister Hon. Anthony Smith Jr has distributed thousands of seedlings as part of a nationwide backyard gardening competition, rebranded as the Plant to Plate initiative.

It’s part of the effort to get more Antiguans and Barbudans to grow their own food.

The distribution was carried out at the Agricultural Extension Division in St John’s Thursday morning.
