TROPICAL STORM GABRIELLE DEVELOPS

AL92 has strengthened and is now Tropical Storm Gabrielle, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Gabrielle is currently located about 1,085 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, moving north-northwest at 22 mph.

Gabrielle is forecast to remain over open waters for several days. There are currently NO coastal watches or warnings in effect for Antigua and Barbuda.

The storm is expected to continue tracking away from the Caribbean region with little change in strength forecast over the next 48 hours.

We will continue monitoring Gabrielle and provide updates as necessary.
