Police are cautioning passengers against riding in the back of pick-up trucks and other such vehicles.
Spokesperson, Sergeant Frankie Thomas warns that although it’s a regular practice, it remains unsafe.
The safety warning comes just days after the country recorded its first road fatality for the year.
Reports are that on Thursday, 52-year-old Mortland Baggat of Grays Hill was thrown from the back of a truck carrying construction workers as it collided with a minivan.
The accident happened in the vicinity of Parham Corner.
