TS JERRY TO BEGIN AFFECTING ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA TONIGHT
The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services says Tropical Storm Jerry continues on a path that should take its centre just north of Antigua and Barbuda and the rest of the Leeward Islands.
The probability of tropical-storm-force winds has decreased to 9% for Antigua, but has increased to 46% for Barbuda. A Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for both islands and others across the Leewards
The Met Office says the cyclone is expected to make its closest approach tonight, bringing high seas and surfs, periods of heavy rainfall and possible storm-force winds, especially across Barbuda.
