TWO ACCIDENTS WITHIN FEET OF EACH OTHER ON FRIARS HILL RD

Rush hour traffic early Thursday morning was interrupted when two vehicular accidents happened within feet of each other on the Friar’s Hill Rd.

The incidents which involved three Toyota Vitz vehicles (A98511, A2551, and A52718) and a Subaru Impreza (A57768)

The Vitz with license number A52718 had to be removed by wrecker services.

The accidents caused a backlog of traffic on the major thoroughfare as curious drivers proceeded slowly past the scenes. They were guided by members of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda’s Traffic Department.

The morning proved busy for the Traffic Department which were dispatched to at least two other accidents during the early morning hours.
