Two Female Senators Appointed To Crucial Roles In The Government

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has appointed two women two senior offices in important ministries in his government.
Both already sit in the Upper House of the country’s parliament.
At a swearing in ceremony yesterday, Senator Mary-Clare Hurst took the oaths of office as Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism and Economic Development.
Meanwhile, Senator Maureen Payne-Hyman has been re-appointed as Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Public Safety and Labour.
