Two Individuals Are Rushed To The Hospital After A Chopping Incident In Grays Green

A man is in police custody assisting with the investigation into a chopping incident that has left two people hospitalized.
Police sources did not identify the alleged assailant but they have confirmed that the police took him into custody after the incidents on Thursday.
According to the reports the man allegedly chopped his sister with what is believed to be a machete during a family dispute over property. Sometime later when his niece arrived on the scene, he attacked her as well.
Both are currently warded at the Mount St John’s Medical Centre. The severity of their wounds was not immediately known.
The police say they are investigating the incidents that happened in the Grays Green community.
