TWO INJURED IN SINGLE CAR CRASH

A single vehicle accident on the All Saints Road has left two people hospitalized. The incident occurred at about 10:30pm on Tuesday.

The male driver of the Suzuki Swift apparently lost control of the car which collided with a culvert before hitting a light pole. The driver was thrown from the vehicle before it came to a halt.

While the driver was being transported to the hospital, fire officers were desperately trying to free the female from the wreckage using the jaws of life.

She was subsequently freed and transported to the hospital by the EMS.

Police investigationS are ongoing in the matter.
