UKRAINE PRESIDENT PRAISES ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA AND OTHER OAS STATES FOR STANCE
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed gratitude to Antigua and Barbuda and 24 other members of the Organization of American States, for their condemnation on Russia’s invasion of his country.
In a statement on X, formerly Twitter, Zelenskyy said he especially appreciates: “the focus on the fate of Ukraine’s children kidnapped by Russia.”
The comments came on the heels of a presentation by Antigua and Barbuda’s ambassador to the OAS, Sir Ronald Sanders at the hemispheric grouping’s headquarters in Washington DC on Wednesday.
Sir Ronald presented the OAS declaration on behalf of the 25 states which reaffirmed their condemnation of Russia’s invasion.
