United Arab Emirates To Assist In Setting Up Embassy Locally….
The country’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Casroy James, has indicated that the twin island state will be receiving assistance to establish an embassy in the Middle Eastern country.
Speaking on ABS’s current affairs programme, Against the Backdrop, Ambassador James said discussions are ongoing with the government of the UAE, who have agreed to assist with the diplomatic office.
The UAE is made up of seven Emirates, including Dubai and the capital Abu Dhabi.
He told us that in the interim, he will be making continued visits to the UAE, since several projects are in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, a delegation from a prominent construction company from the Middle Eastern country is to visit Antigua and Barbuda to explore opportunities here.
The twin-island state recently signed an air services agreement with the Emirates, which is expected to open the door for more opportunities in Civil Aviation.
