There is an update this on government’s plans to begin charging the Antigua & Barbuda Sales Tax on online purchases.

Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Hon. Gaston Browne says it will take some time to bring it to fruition.

The collection of ABST at source was signaled in this year’s budget statement at the start of the fiscal year.

The nation’s leader reminds it’s not a new tax but ensures greater efficiency in how it’s collected.
